Write to support@setronome.io. A person reads it. Say which device you are on and what you were doing, and if something went wrong during a rehearsal, roughly when. The app keeps a diagnostics screen that can answer most of the rest.

Setronome is a rehearsal metronome for marching band

It carries a whole season as one file: the tempo map, the meters, the rehearsal sets, and the passages a director saved to run again. Then it runs the passage rather than the show, in any browser at setronome.io: a school Chromebook, an Android phone, a laptop, Safari on an iPhone.

The listener is on the iPhone app. That is the part that hears the band through the microphone and tells you, in milliseconds, how far ahead or behind the playing actually was. It needs a measured noise floor a browser microphone cannot give. Your purchase covers the iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch apps as well: sign in there and they are already yours. Settings lists all nine things the browser does not do, each with its reason, before you ever need them.

Where your shows live

On your device, and in your own iCloud if you use the iPhone app. Nothing you make is stored on our server: not the shows, not the sets, not the recordings, not the rehearsal history. That is why a season moves between devices as a file you send yourself rather than as an account you log in to.

If a browser's site data is cleared, the shows in that browser go with it. Settings has a backup: it writes one file with every show and saved tempo in it, and opening that file puts them back.

The purchase

One purchase, $4.99, once. It does not renew. It unlocks Setronome everywhere it runs, and an account exists only to carry it between the phone and a browser. Signing in never carries your shows, and it is never needed to use the app on the device you bought it on. Refunds says how to get your money back, which is: ask.

The questions that come up most

Deleting your account

Inside the app, or at setronome.io/delete-account, which keeps working after the app is uninstalled. It deletes the account and the record of the purchase. It does not touch your shows, because they were never ours to delete.
